- Supports smaller class sizes that make learning more productive
- Will fight for funding for more after school programs and facilities for those programs
- Supports charter schools but feels that freedom of choice within the public schools should be allowed

Local
- Will fight for more municipal parking in the district
- Supports the increase of funding to Senior Centers Supports access to the inside of the Jerome Park Reservoir for walking and running
- Will fight for additional resources for our local Police Departments
- Supports the development of a pedestrian bridge that connects both sides of Van Cortlandt Park
- Will develop a plan that increases and improves access to the Harlem and Hudson River waterfronts
- Supports walkways along the various Bronx waterfronts
Reform in Government
- Operate full service offices in the district to help residents find solutions to problems
- Form a local legislative committee of community volunteers to help shape legislation
- Supports cable telecasting of both Senate and Assembly sessions
- Require personal and financial disclosure of candidates
- Supports an online digest of state spending
- Supports campaign finance reform to promote fairness among candidates
